1. No renewal fees, ever
You will never receive a renewal invoice for your hosting plan. The amount you pay today is the only amount you will ever pay for that plan. We will not raise the price of a plan you already own, and we will not introduce a fee later and call it something other than a renewal.
Your plan stays active, with no renewal fees, for as long as Lifehosty operates.
2. A full refund within 90 days, no reason needed
If Lifehosty is not right for you, ask us within 90 days of your payment and we refund the full plan price. The GST you paid is adjusted through a credit note and returned with it. You do not have to explain why.
We chose 90 days rather than the usual 30 because 90 days is long enough to actually move a website in, run it, and find out whether we are any good. The details are in our Refund Policy.
3. You can transfer your plan to someone else, free, at any time
Projects end. Clients move on. Businesses change. If you no longer need your lifetime plan, you are not stuck with it: tell us who should have it and we transfer the account to them at no charge, with our help moving anything that needs moving.
There is no fee, no time limit, and no requirement that the new owner be a customer already. We would rather a plan ended up with someone who wants it than sat unused.
4. Your plan keeps the resources you bought
Over the years we will move accounts to newer and faster hardware. When we do, the websites, storage, mailboxes and other limits stated on your plan are never reduced. We will not quietly downgrade a plan in order to push you toward a newer one.
Equally, we will not pretend your plan is bigger than it is. Every plan has published limits, and we hold to them in both directions.
5. If we ever had to stop the service
We intend to be here for a very long time. But a promise that only works in the good case is not a promise, so here is the bad case, in full:
- At least 6 months’ notice, sent to the email address on your account.
- A complete backup of your account, including files, databases and email, made available for you to download.
- Free help moving your websites to another host of your choosing, done by our team, not a link to a help article.
- A pro-rata refund of what you paid, reduced by one 10th for each full year your plan has been active. A plan active for three full years would be refunded 70% of the plan price.
These terms are written into our Lifetime Hosting Terms, so they are part of your contract with us and not a statement of goodwill we could withdraw.
6. What we do not promise
A promise is worth more when it has edges, so these are ours:
- We do not offer SSH, terminal access, root access, or custom application stacks. Our plans are for websites, WordPress and email.
- We do not promise “unlimited” websites, storage, mailboxes or databases. Every plan has stated limits and they are real.
- We do not publish an uptime guarantee with a compensation scheme we could not fund. We publish our measured uptime instead.
- We keep automatic backups and you can restore from them, but you remain responsible for keeping your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
- Accounts used for spam, phishing, malware or illegal activity are not covered by any of the above. That is in the Acceptable Use Policy.

Every order is invoiced by that company, with GST, and the invoice carries the same identifiers. If anything on this page is ever changed, the date at the top changes with it.
